Our Story

We met online, started talking quickly, and then never stopped. She was actually interested in the formula to calculate the thickness of steel armor required to stop a 19th century artillery shell. Or at least, she was interested in why I was interested in it. And over an appreciation for niche facts, classic movies, and books of every and all kinds, we fell in love.

The Proposal

Nothing went as planned. The ring had been delayed. Every florist in town was out of red roses. We went out for fondue (the first restaurant fell through) and then picked up dessert from Papa Haydn to take home (it was too late to eat there). He got down on one knee, and almost fell over when the dog tried to help.
It was a perfect moment, and the easiest “yes” of my life.
